The M3-Flex backplate is our design and manufacture. It is the heavy M3 backplate with retrofit spade grips, trigger & safety. It has the best grip/trigger geometry (my informed opinion) and provides plenty of room for gloved hands as well.

The M3-Flex Backplate provides these benefits:

· Safety – The M3 backplate wraps around the sideplates for a stronger connection to the gun. The M2 backplate sits within the side plates secured only by narrow slots. In an out-of-battery or over-pressure condition the M3 backplate will withstand far more force than the M2 without detaching and becoming a projectile.

· Safety – The M3-Flex backplate incorporates a cross-bolt safety to disable the butterfly trigger for an additional degree of shooting safety.

· Durability – The M3 backplate provides a degree of cushioning to the bolt in that the internals compress under pressure. The M2 backplate uses solid disks to absorb the energy of the bolt, but do not retreat at all under the force. Mushrooming of the back of the bolt is less likely when using the M3 backplate.

If you are not married to the Pure M2HB look then this is the most durable and safest option.
